BRIEF HISTORY

The College of Law of Tabaco College was born out of a need for a law school in the First District of Albay recognized by the Commission on Higher Education. It takes pride of its top-caliber faculty and staff and state-of-the-arts facilities and library to carry out the quality law education it envisions. It has produced lawyers now serving the community.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

To contribute towards the promotion and advancement of justice and the improvement of its administration, the legal system and the legal institution in the light of historical and contemporary development of law in the country in the international community.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

1. To prepare students for the practice of law by offering academic program which delve into legal principle, procedure, systems, problems as well as the new developments in the field of law.
2. To produce especially committed members of the legal profession who have the competence and aware of the needs of deprived and oppressed of the community.
3. To train person for national leadership.
